Gulshan Polyols Ltd produces over 19 grades of Calcium Carbonate (Precipitated, Activated, Ground Natural Calcite Powder and Wet) used in various industries. Four of GPL’s facilities, spread across the country, are dedicated to manufacturing Calcium Carbonate with an integrated capacity of 1,05,000 MTPA. Facilities have in-house microbiology laboratory with extensive R & D facility and are backed by 7MW captive power plants. GPL has imported classifiers from IVA Industrieberatung GmBH, Germany, for Ground Natural Calcite Powder. In order to make it-self eco-friendly, all facilities have clarifiers to recover maximum solids and waste water discharge.
Muzzafarnagar, U.P.: The facility is set up in total area of 1,00,000 sq mt. and produces PCC, GCC & ACC, at a total capacity of 70,000 MTPA. It has a 7MW captive power plant to suffice its power needs. The facility is ISO 9001:2008 certified. The facility is equipped with a state-of-art microbiology laboratory with extensive R & D facilities. All plants have international quality equipments and technology and provide employment to over 700 people..
Bharuch, Gujarat: The facility is set up in 10,000 sq mt and produces ACC, at a total capacity of 15,000 MTPA.
Dhaula Kuan, H.P.: The facility is set up in 30,000 sq mt and produce NGCC/CALCITE, at a total capacity of 20,000 MTPA.
Abu Road, Rajasthan: The unit is set up in 10,000 sq mt. It will commence production from April 2012, with designed capacity of 50,000 tons P.A. to make fine Ground and Coated Calcium Carbonate as well as Natural Calcite Powder. This unit enjoys proximity to world-class quality in many stone varieties. Company also intends to import marble to ensure supply of superior product quality.
Packaging: Packaging is done in different denominations such as 25 Kg / 50 Kg / 1000 Kg in HDPE /Paper bags as per customer requirement. WGCC is packed in both liquid bulk tankers (SS) and barrels.
Prominent Clients: Colgate-Palmolive, Hindustan Unilever, Amar Remedies, etc. GPL exports Calcium Carbonate to neighboring countries like Nepal, Bangladesh and as far as Muscat, Nigeria, U.A.E., etc.
